The Empty Field

Cultivate
the empty field
of awareness.

Remove
the weed
of fixed ideals.

Concerning what is
has been
or should be.

Ward against
the pestilence
of a chattering mind.

That great
despoiler
of fields.

Crush
the stones
of resistance.

To the
present
moment.

Grow
god and
goodness.

In the
empty
field.

Harvest
with presence
a bounty of virtue.

As Luck Would Have It

As
luck
would
have it.

I always
get what
I want.

When I
need
it.

Just
in the
nick of
time.

Sometimes
fortune
sometimes
tragedy.

I always
get what
I want.

When I
need
it.

Because
the universe
does not
waste
time.

What I
get
I always
needed.

Whatever
that may
be.

Alike
in fortune
and tragedy.

I always
get what
I want.

When I
need
it.

Just
in the
nick of
time.

Because
what
I want
I always
needed.

And
the universe
does not
waste
time.
