Pity My Mad Blind Brother

I will not
have you
as my enemy
nor cast hatred
your way.

Life
is too precious
hatred
too great a burden.

I will not
taint myself
with anger
nor reject you
as myself.

I greet you
instead
not as enemy
but as lost aspect
of my own soul.

Looking
through eyes
clouded by the darkness
of a blind heart.

Possessed
by the madness
of a hallucination
of the separate self.

Pity
my mad
blind brother
is the only burden
I will bear.

Evil’s Remedy Is Not Virtue But Laughter

Evil’s remedy
is not virtue
but laughter.

Note the
ego’s quest
for validation
and chuckle.

Observe the
wickedness
of evil’s delusions
with mirth.

Watch
duality’s drama
infinitely unfolding
with laughter.

Evil
inevitably falls
under the weight
of its contradictions.

Self-righteousness
sows the seeds
of its own
corruption.

Transcendence
alone destroys
delusions
with laughter.

Evil
holds no sway
when the heart
is gay.

Hope No More

Souls
craving progress
is nature’s way.

But man
confused progress
with desire
and lost his way.

Chasing
mirages of hope
in a desert
of despair.

He sought
money
power and fame.

Hoping
the novelty
of experience
would still
his restless soul.

Man is more
than fleeting form
and novel desire.

More than
fathomless pits
that cannot
be filled.

All souls
crave progress
but delusion
is not the way.

Awaken
dear man
and hope
no more.

We are
shattered pieces
of the whole.

Your soul’s longing
the desire
to go home.

Faith alone
will still your soul
sate your desire
and take you home.

Raptured

Let them say,
If they speak of me.

That I was drunk on god,
And good for nothing else.

Drunk,
And thirsty to be.

May,
They say.

If,
They speak of me.

That I drank deeply,
And could not stop.

That I raptured.

And filled,
A god wide void.

Let them whisper.

That I became drunk,
On god.

And was good,
For nothing else.
